INSTALL & COMMON SENSE
Tectonic pedals are marked for left & right sides; the left pedal has three (3) dots machined into the spindle adjacent to the 8mm hex interface; the right pedal has no machined markings. As usual, the right pedal is right-hand threaded, and the left is left-hand threaded. Always use the included pedal washers with the Altar v1, and always use grease on the threads. Install pedals to approximately 15-20Nm. If you have any doubts about installing this product, please consult your local bicycle shop.
CARE & FEEDING
Periodically inspect and tighten traction pin fixing bolts with a 2.5mm hex key. These bolts are factory treated with reusable thread-lock, but they can still loosen with use. Torque these bolts to 3-4Nm.

LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
We take pride in producing quality products from the best available materials, and want riders to feel confident in their equipment so they can ride at their best. We designed and specified our products to excel in demanding terrain, and to provide a long service life. Tectonic pedals are covered by our Limited Lifetime Warranty, covering the chassis of the pedal, defined at the ‘pedal body’ and ‘spindle’. These components are warrantied for the reasonable lifetime of the product, and, at the discretion of Tectonic Components, will be repaired or replaced in the event that they display a Manufacturers Defect. This warranty only applies to the original owner and is not transferable. Warranty covers Manufacturers Defects only.
The Limited Lifetime Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, or damage or loss caused by misuse, cosmetic damage, crashes, abuse, lack of maintenance, improper assembly, riding beyond your limitations, or not meeting the criteria of a Manufacturers Defect. We also suggest that all products are installed by a professional bike mechanic.
We also offer a Lifetime Crash Replacement discount policy, on a case-by-case basis to the original owner.
